--Apple cinnamon LSA porridge--

When the weather turns icy in the am, my taste buds crave a steaming, warming bowl of porridge.  Not on WHOLE30 though - oats are a no-go-zone.

 

So armed with some inspo, my trusty thermy, a bottle of doTERRA Cinnamon Essential Oil and an absolute hankering for my childhood fav, here's my take on clean eating porridge.

 

--WHAT--

1 apple, core removed and quartered

1 cup unsweetened almond milk

1/3 cup LSA

2 drops doTERRA* Cinnamon essential oil

2 tablespoons coconut yoghurt

1/8 cup pepitas (pumpkin seeds)

--HOW (Thermomix)--

Chop apple for 3 seconds on speed 5

Scrape down sides

Add LSA, cinnamon essential oil and milk.

Cook for 6 minutes at 90 degrees on speed 1

Serve with coconut yoghurt + pepitas.

 

--HOW (Stove Top) --

Grate or chop apple.

Combine LSA and almond milk in a small saucepan over medium heat.

Add apple + cinnamon essential oil.

Continue to stir as mixture thickens (roughly 10 minutes)

Serve with coconut yoghurt + pepitas.

 

--SERVES--
1 very hungry person with medium to high energy needs who loves porridge!
